Great Sushi, Tempera, and Shrimp rolls. Will be back.

It’s a cool little shop! So glad I decided to stop and try it out, think I’ve found my new sushi stop, and it’s nice they have so many other food options so that way I can bring my family with me!!

The service is always great and the food is even better.

What a great experience! Where else can you get Italian & Japanese all in the same place?? The "First Love Roll" was YUMO! My sister enjoyed the Margarita Pizza. The service was awesome!! I have no doubt that we will drop by again soon for a bite or three... THANK YOU for the lovely lunch and allowing us to stay passed your closing time.

This little unexpected gem was amazing! Their Sushi is fantastic and service is even better. 10/10 will eat here again.

5 of us ate there because we'd heard what great crab cakes they have. They were inedible. In fact, 1 of our group was sick afterwards...avoid this restaurant!

They always have phenomenal service and food! They have an extensive variety of options on their menu, even the pickiest eaters are bound to find something they like here. It definitely has the local small town feeling, it’s cozy and it’s always a pleasant experience when we visit here. Definitely check them out, you won’t regret it!

My coworkers and I went there shortly after new management a few months back. We went back today and it is a whole new place. The restaurant and menu got a good renovation. I got the sushi, but they have a pretty extensive menu including sandwiches, pasta, pizza, quiche, and crepes. The nine piece nigiri pieces were good sized and very fresh. Will definately be back.

Would have pictures of the sushi but, I ate it. This places sushi is the best I've had stateside since leaving hawaii. Def recommended to anyone.

Super value, across the board for a variety of combinations. I tried a couple different mixed plates, and enjoyed each one of them. Nice cozy place with a good variety of options.

The restaurant is first-rate and roomy, the meals was yummy and the prices were very reasonable. rapidly, productive service and very amiable waiters. I recommend this place.

The sushi is truly the best in town. We love their sushi. We go there just for sushi. Always amazing and always super nice.

First time eating here and I've been in Leavenworth on and off for 3 years. It was great sushi, clean and super kid friendly. Definitely recommend it!

(Gosh, I was sure I left a good review months ago, whoops!)I LOVE taking my kids here because their menu is so diverse! They have pizza, sushi, lasagna, grilled cheese, mexican, soup, fries, etc. Whatever each of my kids are in the mood for... boom: We go here and everyone is happy!My personal favorite is the Fried Crab Rangoon served as a sushi roll. It's SOOOO good!! I never thought the combination of those would work, but it's amazing!

Great service and great food! I love sushi and this place has some very good sushi. I was at a course at Ft Leavenworth and stayed in the Home2 Suites and ate at Family Bistro and Sushi 2-3 times a week for about two months. The owners are very nice and always come up with new rolls every week. I just made myself hungry for sushi.

The food is very overpriced, and the quality is mediocre at best. The service is good, and done with a smile. I can't imagine I'd go back.

Great little restaurant!!! We go almost every weekend since we discovered this place. Huge variety! Everything is always super fresh and delicious!!! Highly recommend to all!!!

We have been here twice for sushi. Pass on the crab cakes and escargot. The rainbow roll doesn’t have avocado on the outside, the JB deluxe is passable but the miso soup and true love rolls are good!

Amazing food for everyone. My 4 yr old sat still long enough to eat a whole plate of sushi!!

I am in love with their crab rangoon roll from the appetizer section. And the Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich is amazing. The pork tenderloin sandwich was good. The pizza is great. Plus you can have drinks there. That is always a plus.

If you're looking for sushi in Leavenworth then look no further. This is easily the best quality sushi in town while somehow maintaining amazing prices well. I recommend the 1/2 rainbow roll combo, you get a nice variety of sushi for a little over $10

It's not what I expected going into the restaurant. With the name Family Bistro and a picture of a pizza on the outside , you expect something different when you go inside. But inside the offer escargot , sushi dishes and other fish items such as tilapia sandwiches and catfish. And yes they do serve the pizza for what I seen extremely thin crust. The tilapia sandwich I had was mediocre. My friends tenderloin sandwich was mediocre. The escargot was mediocre. But it was something different

Nice little pricey on the sushi*edit* fair enough pricing considering the whole pandemic. Would recommend.

Wonderful atmosphere beautiful and helpful staff

Tried quite a bit of the menu. A bit pricey, but very good. The sushi is the best in Leavenworth/Lansing. Calamari is good, but large rings, which isn't my favorite style (I prefer tentacles and lighter breading). Cole slaw is a bit mayo-heavy, but good. The shrimp platter came with three types of shrimp, which were all good, but not great. The escargot was very tasty. As was the miso soup. All in all, a very good meal, albeit a little pricey. I will be returning, and trying more of the menu. I'll be reordering the sushi and escargot.

For a place that’s says they are open And not really busy you guys surely DO NOT answer the phone ! Are you serving food or not ?!

Always great food!The owner always comes over to say hello and make sure his food is perfect. If you like homemade bread pudding...I recommend it! Best I've EVER had.

This is the Mexican roll. Arriba it was AWESOME. The staff was friendly. Atmosphere casual and laid back.

AMAZING! I was a little skeptical about the place on the sushi but is was a hidden gem! The staff was awesome, fast and friendly. Was able to watch our rolls get made and parking was nice. I will be going back!! If they added a couple cast iron tables out front to eat would be so nice too!

I dine in this place quite often! This is my favorite restaurant to pass a nice evening. I visit this place frequently. The cooking is great, the team is helpful and the payment is decent. I enjoy meeting in this place over a tasty dinner.

I work on the road in 3 states and have tried more places that serve sushi than I can recall. This place really surprised me. Walked up to it and had a pizza sign on the window. It was GOOD sushi! I had 2 rolls, 1 being the mexican sushi and was very good. Good price, will definitely be returning
